A Caring Economy for Bristol

In October 2022 Invisible Army were invited to show a selection of our Carer’s Stories at A Caring Economy for Bristol at City of Bristol College event

The Caring Economy brought together: Childcare and social care providers paid and unpaid; City of Bristol College; city council policy makers; grassroots and women’s groups; Parenting in the Pandemic community researchers; political representatives; organisers from March of the Mummies; receivers of care; university researchers - Coming together in solidarity with one another to discuss how to invest in the Caring

Economy


We joined decision makers, unpaid carers and parents’ groups, providers and users of childcare and social care and policy experts to discuss how the future economy can help make care visible and valued in Bristol across the generations and communities.







The conclusions would be promoted by The Bristol Women’s Commission.
